The Rev. William Mitchell FREAR c1875, my 3GGrandfather, of Frear Hill in Eaton Twp; b 12 Nov 1792 in Pittston, Luzerne Co, PA and d 10 Oct 1894 in Wyoming Co; Son of Abraham FREAR(1740-1823) and Sarah (PATTERSON) MITCHELL (1760-1845). He married Hannah WHEELOCK (1800-1889), dau of Esek WHEELOCK (1766-1847) and Sophia STEERE (1773-18630), both of Wyoming Co. William, Hannah, Abraham, and Sarah are buried in the Old Brick Church cemetery in Eaton Twp. (across from Walmart). William was a Baptist Minister in the early days of Wyoming Co.
